The history of United Engineers Limited can be overlooked back in the nineteenth century the period when Howarth Erskine & Co. That was founded in 1875 and Riley Hargreaves & Co. founded in 1865 merged hence forming the United Engineers Limited. During the early periods, the company’s main business was manufacturing, supplying, and importing heavy equipment that was needed at that time in the industry. Most of the United Engineers Limited’s projects and operations were destroyed in the Second World War. However, when the war was over, the United Engineers Limited again stood up and established its business again hence striving and became the main player in the ship repair sectors and thriving shipbuilding.
